Terri, pictured with her mother, dedicated almost 3 and a half decades of her life saving and improving lives in a wide variety of corporate roles. She has always had a calling as a caregiver and has served others from a young age. Her personal experience in end-of-life caregiving for family members gave rise to the creation of the Sunset Bridge Corporation.

Vice Chair / Vice President

Joanne has worked with several non-profit organizations. As a board member for a non-profit, located in central Bucks County, PA, she was responsible for ensuring that the operations at shelter sites ran smoothly and efficiently. She was also responsible for training volunteers to work in the shelter. She brings a passion for helping others in whatever circumstances they find themselves in.

Treasurer

Nancy spent 40+years working in industry where she led projects from concept to completion. She volunteers with several non-profit organizations and enjoys collaborating with and helping others. Growing up in Delaware, she has fond memories of the beach and enjoys returning with her family. Nancy looks forward to working with Sunset Bridge to build their future.

Working two decades in a diverse set of roles within the healthcare industry, Adria continues to utilize her talents to help others. She is excited to apply her skills to Sunset Bridge Corporation in support of the mission which is so near and dear to her heart. Serving as a hospice volunteer for several years, along side SBC’s founder, Adria has seen firsthand how the services of SBC will benefit so many in need. Her genuine kindness, expertise, and attention to detail are tremendous assets to SBC.

Amy, pictured with her husband, was immediately captivated by the concept of Sunset Bridge when she met Terri while caring for a mutual hospice patient. Amy grew up spending summer vacations at Salt Pond in Bethany Beach where she created her most cherished family memories. After college she worked as a nurse in the Americorps and then became a Nurse Practitioner. Her innate compassion for others combined with her own personal experience of losing her father instilled a desire to shift her career path to end-of-life care, working as a hospice nurse and now practicing as a palliative care Nurse Practitioner in Bucks County. Supporting the development of Sunset Bridge is a dream come true. Amy looks forward to helping families find peace in the healing surroundings of Salt Pond as they work through difficult end-of-life decisions.

Joe is an avid community volunteer within Delaware and finds a great sense of purpose in providing support for those who need it most. He served as the head of volunteer and community outreach for an employee resource group and always looks for ways to get others involved in helping their community.

Carol, pictured with her mother and two daughters, has a background in HR at Lancaster Labs. Now retired, she is excited to do whatever she can to make this time of transition for families as loving and peaceful as possible. Carol recounted that her mother was her role model and best friend, who taught her to be kind to everyone and everyone matters. She has strived to live that lesson in her personal and professional life. Carol's greatest accomplishment is to have raised 2 daughters who are trying to leave the world a better place.

As a certified public accountant with over three decades in accounting and finance, Elva brings a wealth of professional experience to the Sunset Bridge Corporation (SBC) team. In addition, as the primary caregiver for her mom, Elva shares her heart and compassion for helping others. She is excited to join her lifelong childhood friend, Terri (founder of SBC) and the whole SBC team to help continues to move the mission of SBC forward.

Robbie Robinson

Manaen S. Robinson, IV, (Robbie) was born and raised in Dagsboro, Delaware. Robbie’ s family has resided in Sussex County since the early 1700s. Robbie graduated from Indian River High School in 1999. After high school, Robbie attended the University of Delaware, graduating in 2003 with a major in Criminal Justice. Thereafter, Robbie attended Albany Law School and received his Juris Doctor with a concentration in estate planning in 2007. After practicing family law in Georgetown, Delaware from 2007 through 2011, Robbie joined the firm of Parsons and Robinson, P.A. in 2012. Robbie focuses his practice on real estate, wills and estates.
Robbie and his wife, Cara (Deldeo) also a Dagsboro native, continue to reside in Dagsboro with their three children. In his spare time, Robbie enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with his family.

Steve Rhodes

Steve grew up in Silver Spring Maryland but spent summers in Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach working in the family retail business. Steve then moved to Colorado for an internship to obtain M.A. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and stayed there for 35 years working in variety of therapeutic and Social Work settings including staff of first Battered Women’s Shelter in Colorado and providing counseling for the male abusers and in teenage Group Homes. Steve then became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and worked in Child Protection for the Department of Social Services mostly working as a supervisor for team of home therapists and for the Intake team. In 2012 he moved back to the Bethany area to help his sister with the family business. He is also a participant and Board member of the Rehoboth Concert Band.

As a consultant for SCORE Mentors, Dan assists clients in making better financial decisions based on quality information about their business. As a Controller and CPA, Dan has a diverse background in various business models to assist in strategic analysis. He has assisted small business startups and helped existing entrepreneurs setup monthly financial reporting. Dan's experience responding to a plethora of business proposal requests has aided him in generating a number of grant requests for non-profit organizations. Additionally, Dan has managed large and small projects from initial startup to contractual turnover to the customer.
